How to trust others?

If you feel betrayed or fear trusting others and delegating tasks, you may be suffering from the wound of betrayal.

In this case, know that with a bit of courage, you may reveal your natural strength, that is to act quickly, to decide, to lead, reaffirm and have great performances.

Without this courage, you hide your difficulty in trusting with a priori control behaviors, lying to yourself and not being able to keep your commitments. It’s an unconscious way of masking the fear of engagement that speaks to an even greater fear: disengagement.

Courage is expressed in the ability of letting go and understanding that it’s impossible to control everything, specially regarding human relations and their management.

Think that you can keep going forward on your projects with less stress by focusing on relationship with others rather than on transactions. Transactions (or results, as you prefer) will come afterwards, and this result doesn’t rely only on you, independently of your being a seller, a manager or a CEO.

Also consider that confidence is born from our ability of being comfortable within the uncomfortable.
